Created from found hearts in debris, a half-eaten apple, stones, a cracked plastic spoon and other materials, this compilation of found hearts comprises an original Rorschach inkblot. All of these heart images were captured with an iPhone 3G. The images were not altered or enhanced in any way. Named after Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach, the Rorschach is a psychological test in which subjects’ perceptions of inkblots are recorded and analyzed. Some psychologists use this test to examine a person’s personality characteristics and emotional functioning.
